Dead Smooth is a female owned and operated small business located in McHenry, Illinois, specializing in simple, yet effective, skincare and beauty products. Frustrated with overcomplicated products that never worked, or cost a fortune, I decided to create my own body butters and balms that actually made a difference for my skin. Combining simplicity, skin-loving ingredients, and a rebellious aesthetic, Dead Smooth was born as an alternative to traditional skincare and complex formulas.

As I continued to research and formulate, my beloved, bearded husband began to request his own products, and ultimately expanded the product line for the better. Blending beneficial oils and butters, our men’s line caters to both the hair and skin, elevating the grooming experience for beards of all lengths and textures.

Though I started out making products for myself, Dead Smooth was created in order to share my passion with others. As an aging, punk rock, horror-loving hooligan, I could not resist allowing these influences to come through with my branding and overall aesthetic; hopefully appealing to those seeking a skincare experience that reflects their own individuality and rebellion as well.
